today was a day of straining: i strained the limoncello 4 times (2x in a gold filter and 2x in a gold filter + paper filter). ultimately, it just looked like a jar of pee. but probably (hopefully) tastier. i also made chicken stock which always involves a mesh strainer and 4 layers of cheesecloth. and straining all the chicken and veggie juices as much as possible as every drop is tasty.
