yesterday, i bought a reversing ring for my camera, only to find out that it could potentially ruin the CPU contacts so i have to return it and get an updated version. i snapped a few photos before i found out the bad news, but i’m still crushed. camera seems to work fine, though. and i ordered one through calumet photo – i can pick it up on thursday. hardly instant gratification but better than waiting 6-10 biz days.

anyway, i was going on and on to m about all the things i could do w/ this new gadget which led to some friendly banter:

j: “it’s like scientific microscopic photography!”
m: “is that like macrobiotics?”
j (frowning): “…no…”

(hmmmm, this seemed funnier yesterday…)
