i just finished perks… it took me less than 48 hours to read. m could probably read it in an afternoon. i think i’ll start reading it again tomorrow… i liked it that much.

just finished my second reading of perks… it took longer than i thought it would. i didn’t gain any new insight but i did enjoy it just as much. maybe more since i could read it casually and not try to think about what was going to happen next or how it would end. m’s dad can’t understand why i would want to see movies over and over again or reread the same book. because it’s not about the end – it’s about the middle and the the details and the way it is written (the journey). it’s trite but also true.
